Ross Ulbricht found guilty in Silk Road trial


A jury has found Ross Ulbricht guilty on all counts of being the person behind Silk Road.

On Wednesday, deliberation began to decide if Ulbricht, 30, is the kingpin behind billion-dollar Silk Road, once the globe’s largest marketplace to find drugs online. Mere hours later, reports trickled in that he had been found guilty. The government shut down Silk Road in 2013. He faced charges related to drug trafficking and money laundering and could be sentenced to life imprisonment.
